Find out all about us as "Cyprus Stamps" and follow our lifestyle updates in Cyprus after moving to live in Limassol from the UK in 2004.
A typical day?Posted on Friday Jul 3 0:00:00 BST 2009 Listed under: Cyprus Life Well, that's me finished from work for a whole week - yeahey!!! Time to catch up on some swimming and tanning in this glorious Cyprus weather and also to spend some time with our friends....
Some of our friends are selling their villa (3 bedrooms with large, private swimming pool on the edge of Souni village, about 20 minutes or so drive out of Limassol town). If you fancy having a quick peek - here's a link to some details and photos.
Our other friends have their own company in Cyprus and place dogs with foster families whilst their owners go on holiday.
Helen also puts in a lot of work at Sirius Dog Sanctuary in Limassol. The sanctuary only recently got recognised as a charity by the Cypriot government and they are badly in need of funding. They rehome waifs and strays, and more often, hunting dogs that have been abandoned. The sanctuary is looking for donations or adoptions or even new owners! It's not totally unknown for some of the dogs to have been rehomed overseas and a few have warm & friendly homes in Germany as well as those who have found welcoming homes and owners in Cyprus. Please visit the Sirius website and look around. They are currently working on the website so if everything isn't up and running properly and you are interesting in making a donation or adopting a 4 legged friend, please drop them an email. Your contact will be very welcome....
